P3 stands for Pulsed Peak Performance, and this therapy is proving very beneficial in alleviating pain, increasing range of motion, and speeding the healing of many types of injuries.
The P3 is a pulsed electromagnetic devices (PEMF) which are demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of the equine athlete, particularly, soft tissue damage.
Veterinarians are finding PEMF to be a very effective non-invasive therapy and the deep stimulation opens the lymphatic system, allowing the body to transport waste products out of the tissues, thus, relieving soreness; it helps to increase blood circulation in the areas being treated, helps to prevent injuries, tendon and ligament problems, joint stiffness, and stimulates hoof growth.
It is also very effective in wound healing and the reduction of scaring. Numerous veterinarianshave said the the P3 is revolutionizing the way we look at and treat the back problems. When added to a training program the highly-regarded veterinarians, and trainers, have seen the P3 can give the equine athlete a competitive edge.
The P3 is designed to restore missing electrical charges to damaged cells, this therapy allows cells to re-attain their natural electrical charge. It is commonly used for tendon and ligament problems, swelling, joint stiffness, muscle strains, arthritis and other conditions.
How long are treatments?
30 minutes for spot treatments, around 1 hour for a full body treatment.
Can I just get sport treatment on my horse?
Yes, but we recommend always treating the whole body first to find if there is any other area that should be focused on. Plus, by increasing the blood oxygen in the whole body the sensitive area continues to be helped as super oxygenated blood from the rest of the body continues to flow through the area.
How long until I see results?
Results are immediate with continued improvement over time with additional treatments.
How soon after treatment can the horse be worked?
Immediately, there is no recovery time.
